UK’s market-leading travel add-ons company makes the list for the sixth time and achieves two-star Best Companies accreditation

Hythe-based Holiday Extras has exceeded its own success in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For survey by being listed at number 45 and achieving two-star accreditation for the first time. It is the sixth year the company has been listed in the Mid Companies category.

The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list is based on research into workplace engagement, and is the largest survey of its kind. For 2012, over 245,000 employees were surveyed from 828 organisations. The results were announced at a ceremony held at Battersea Power Station on Thursday 23 February, hosted by BBC journalist Kate Silverton.

Anouk Agussol, Head of People for Holiday Extras, said: “Over the past year we have worked super hard, really focusing on making Holiday Extras an amazing place to work. People Engagement has been top of the priority list with massive impact being felt across the business as a result of changes implemented from our own Engagement Questionnaire. Subsequent plans have been actioned relating to feedback, business alignment, leadership, team work and wellbeing to name just a few.

“To be awarded two stars, which is an “outstanding” accreditation, and be on the Sunday Times list once again is a fantastic achievement for us all. Every single person who works at Holiday Extras has helped to make this happen.”

Holiday Extras was the only company based in Kent to be listed in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For 2012.
