Cathy Beare of Holiday Extras joins Top 100 women in travel industry

Cathy Beare, group chief financial officer of Holiday Extras, has joined the Women 1st Top 100 Club of the most influential women in the hospitality, passenger transport, travel and tourism industry.

Announced on 19 June 2012 at the Women 1st Shine Awards, Cathy is in good company joining Carolyn McCall OBE, CEO of easyJet and Women 1st Woman of the Year; Kellie Rixon, group brand development director, De Vere Group; and Janis Kong OBE who is a non-executive director for TUI, VisitBritain and Network Rail among other impressive names in the industry.

Cathy said: “It’s a great honour to join these fantastic women who are achieving remarkable things in their careers, and for their businesses. I’m very proud to be seen as a positive role model for the next generation of industry leaders.”
