Travellers can enjoy a fret-free trip with Latitude by Holiday Extras, a travel insurance designed for people with medical conditions.
According to recent research, a third of UK adults admitted that they don’t intend to buy cover for their overseas trip. And those holidaymakers who don’t take out a policy – or purchase insufficient cover – risk losing thousands of pounds.
Latitude offers single and annual multi-trip cover for European and worldwide holidays. Some of the policies’ benefits include £15 million for medical emergencies, £5,000 for cancellation and £2,000 for lost/stolen baggage – plus excesses start from as low as £60.
Andrea Clayton, head of insurance and travel trade partnerships at Holiday Extras, said: “Buying travel insurance for an overseas trip is an absolute essential. There are so many horror stories about people being left high and dry because they didn’t take out a policy – or because the cover they bought didn’t suit their needs.
“Latitude has been a great success since it was launched in March. And people who have previously been restricted by standard insurance policies are now free to plan their dream holiday.”
