The company’s head of people Anouk Agussol accepted the HR Excellence award for Most Effective Benefits Strategy. The ceremony took place at the London Park Lane Hilton on Tuesday July 2.
Flexible working, an extra day off on birthdays, holiday buy and wellbeing weeks are some of the benefits that have been introduced by Holiday Extras.
The company found that traditional perks like pensions and childcare vouchers were, on their own, uninspiring to its predominantly young workforce.
“We’ve worked hard at crafting our benefits package over the last twelve months to engage the team and attract new talent. And this award is a testament to our success,” said Anouk
“Applications have doubled for advertised positions since we increased our benefits offering, helping us to find the right people for roles – like web developers – which we’ve previously found difficult to recruit for.”
