HolidayResearch from ABTA and Holiday Extras reveals Brits as early bird bookers

The latest customer poll from Holiday Extras, alongside the recent research from The Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA, shows that savvy holiday-makers are planning, and saving, ahead to make the most of the best deals. Consumer research conducted last week by Holiday Extras found that one fifth (21%) of Brits start saving for their next trip as soon as they return from holiday.

A nation of ‘early bird bookers’ is revealed by ABTA’s Holiday Trends Report showing that ‘over a third (36%) of consumers booked their holiday further in advance this year, up from a quarter (27%) in 2013.

Ant Clarke Cowell, Communications Director at Holiday Extras commented: ‘We can see evidence of this in our own booking trends as travellers look to take advantage of the great discounts available when they book early.’

Holiday Extras’ customers can make savings of up to 50% on airport parking, and up to 40% on airport hotels when booking in advance.

*6 million savvy travellers booked their airport parking with the leading holiday add-ons specialist in the past three years.
