On the 5th of November, Polly Wooding remembered the home away from home she was given by the Ronald Mcdonald House charity while her young son Hugo received treatment at King’s College Hospital.
Polly – together with her friends at Holiday Extras – held a raffle, sale and bottle tombola to help the charity and to say thanks.
The event raised a remarkable £500 for the charity, and in the evening a firework display was a terrific treat for the hard-working Holiday Extras team and their families.
Local businesses Glam Accessories and Hendrix of Hythe Chocolates also took part, joining other local craft stalls.
Polly said: “I’m delighted to be able to give something back to the Ronald Mcdonald House in Camberwell, helping other families to benefit in a time of need. I’m enormously grateful for everyone’s support.”
Matthew Pack, CEO at Holiday Extras, added: “This fundraiser is another example of the spirit that is such a large part of how we are at Holiday Extras. As always, the bonfire night was a great success”
